I want Orange Box, but my vista has a problem with steam ( messed up UAC: I cannot delete's exes...full admin, UAC turned OFF...still nada... The "read-only" flag stays on, no matter how many times I change it )

I'll probably settle for Crysis, sin's creed, or ut3.

For me BF2 gets too repetitive, and its mostly a multiplayer game so its boring if you cant find a game. Haven't really gotten into CoD4 yet still installing as i type this (50% complete). But based on my experience on the demo its very crazy fun game.

I bought CoD4 a couple hours ago. So far it seems really fun, challenging. Enjoyable so far.

As for CoD4 or BF2.

CoD4 is defiantly better.

call of duty 2 is at the top of the xfire list of most played multiplayer games. and if not then is just behind WoW.

No, i'm not. I don't know where you got that I think Doom 1 was junk; one of my fave oldies. I think Half-Life/Half-Life 2/episodes, and Halo are junk because it's the same game over and over again. Even the original Half-Life was junk. What's new about it? Unlikly hero in the wrong place at the wrong time. Gets attacked by aliens. Has to escape. We've seen it a million times since then!

The game play is that of rambo. Always has been. Not my style anymore; I got enough of that in Doom, and UT. Which are great in their own rights.

I favor tactics, and stealth games. Like FEAR, and STALKER.

I have seen videos of CoD4, and it looks pretty decent. But I only make so much, and have to choose which games I do buy. I'll pick Crysis because it also gives me an excellent excuse to upgrade my system.

Well of course it's not new. It's just done in such an awesomely badass way that makes it kick-ass worthy.

And while FEAR does take tactics, there's a certain point where it's just too easy. The "extreme" mode does little to help that. I've even rebinded the slo-mo key to something out of reach.

(And FEAR *is* pretty Ramboish. You have no teammates fighting with you throughout the entire game.)

I'll probably get COD4 when I've got the money. I'm tired of all these WW2 sims.

As for HL 2 it is way to short allready beat it and beat portal got it a few days ago it really is a little to short.
Portal is funny with the evil robot who just wants to give me cake but after you beat it what next?? no online play boo for makeing such a neat looking game and not haveing online play.

CoD 4= hey i beat the game time for the crazyest online play ever 32man servers thats a lota gun fire. LOL

How so? If you run out into the middle of a group of baddies you're going to die. very fast. Trust me, I tried.

The way to win is to hold back, pick one or two off then immediately fall back. Being rambo is running through the whole game, not stopping, and still killing everything.

Thats cause 75% of call CoD players play on cracked server's and they need a program like Xfire to find the cracked server's.

BF2 players barely use Xfire
